Practice Philosophy

The most important feature of our practice philosophy is that we see one patient at a time. Your appointment is time set aside just for you . This is not a clinic; this is a doctor's office. Because the time is set aside just for you, Dr. Simons is never in a rush and will take as much time as needed to explain whatever is necessary.

Reading Dental and Dr. Simons believe that each patient's total health and comfort are all that matters. We are committed to caring for the whole person not just a particular ailment. Many health problems or issues begin in the mouth. Fortunately, Dr. Simons has detected the earliest stages of cancer in several patients prompting them to seek further medical attention. These patients went on to battle their disease successfully.

Of course, we are here for emergencies as well. Dr. Simons knows what it is like to have a child hit a tooth and need immediate care. The panic associated with emergency situations is what Dr. Simons wants so very much to minimize. Kindness, caring, comfort and understanding are all paramount as well. Dr. Simons will take the time to explain any and all procedures.

What we ask of our patients is that they keep their appointments unless it is absolutely necessary to reschedule. Dr. Simons does not double book or stagger patients appointment times. Therefore, when you reschedule your appointment, the time he had set aside just for you is unused. This is unfortunate in that another patient who might be experiencing pain could have used the appointment.
