Do I need my wisdom teeth removed?

Wisdom teeth are difficult to reach, therefore; they are more prone to decay. If they are not fully erupted, bacteria may build up around the surrounding tissue and lead to gum disease and infection.

If your wisdom teeth are fully erupted and you can keep them clean they do not have to be removed.
