Post Operative Instructions for Endodontic (Root Canal) Therapy

1. Have Prescriptions filled immediately.

2. Start Antibiotic immediately - Mandatory.

3. One Lodine tablet to be taken orally as soon as you are home for the evening on day of procedure - Mandatory.

4. Take entire course of antibiotics - Mandatory.

5. At 8:00 PM on the very next day following your procedure take the enclosed  Decadron tablet orally - Mandatory.

6. Do not eat on the side of the mouth that had the procedure done for one entire week - Mandatory.

7. After first Lodine tablet on night of procedure, Lodine is optional take for pain only - Optional.

8. You must call us if you have any of the following symptoms:

• Extreme swelling in area where procedure was done.
• Fever over 101 degrees using oral thermometer.
• Any Allergic Reaction.
